Highlights and Features:
Randomly Generated Content – This website features JavaScript on the home page which randomly generates the content of the two promotional boxs. The benefit of this script and these boxes is to promote different tours to the visitor each time they visit and to give the suggesting that the site might be updated daily.
JavaScript Photo Gallery – This JavaScript is W3C compliant. The script replaces the placeholder image when each of the thumbnails are clicked. (The gallery on this site does not display correctly in Safari and need to be updated)
Dynamic Menus – This site’s dynamic menus provide just 1 click to all the content on this site. Dynamic menus are not suitable for some groups of people, however, the majority of the target audience would find these menus useful.
Static Menus – These static menus are the first boxes in the right-hand column. These benefits those who have limited mobility and struggle with dynamic drop-down menus.
Promotional Boxes – The promotional boxes on this site provide introductions and reminders of other sections of the site.
Basic PHP Email Script – The forms on this site use a very basic PHP Email Script.
Third Party Plug-ins & Modules – This website has been given additional functionality with third party plug-ins. These include Google Gadgets Currency Convector, Weather Channel Weather Display, World Time Server Clocks, live newsfeeds and current currency exchange rates.
